We constantly hear of the dangers of caffeine and all the reasons we should stop drinking coffee, but for coffee lovers the news isn’t all bad. Some of the benefits of coffee include:
- high in antioxidants
- contains magnesium, potassium and some B vitamins
- improves focus, memory, energy and concentration
- it may (studies aren’t wholly conclusive) improve metabolism, help the body burn fat, and aid in the prevention of developing diabetes and Alzeimer’s.
Remember that coffee is a stimulant, and to reap the benefits it should be taken in moderation and ideally without the milk and cream, and with minimal sugar.
